Springside Village Stores

Our precious friendly little village shop, run by Liz and Malcolm, offering fresh local produce, general groceries and newspaper and magazines.

The Duck 

Our village pub is conveniently located opposite the railway station and next to the village recreation grounds. Well known for its quality food and drinks, the Duck has a constantly changing menu including special themed evenings events. You might want to indulge in a curry night or enjoy an outdoor oven baked pizza or join some rather competitive locals for a quiz night  ....  

It has an lovely pub garden overlooking the well equipped play ground, allowing children to play safely, whilst being in full sight from the pub garden.

Clarke and Simpson Auction Centre

The weekly Monday auction is the ideal place to find a variety of treasures, vintage furniture, paintings, maps and occasionally even the odd Morris Minor. 

Regular Antique and Fine Arts sales take place, which are for the more valuable period collectibles, art and furniture. For advise and valuation please contact Clarke & Simpson.

 And if tractors and combine harvesters are your thing, don't miss one of the biggest agricultural machinery sale in the region taking place here twice a year.
