Campsea Ashe is a village in East Suffolk. It is located on the B1078 which passes through Tunstall and then joins the B1084 to Orford. There are approximately 162 houses in the village and a population about 380 (2024). On entering the village, the traveller passes the Village Stores and The Auction Centre. Further along the road there is a pub (The Duck), Station House www.stationhousecampseaashe.co.uk , the Village Hall, a B&B (@ the Rectory), the Church, and a care home. The East Suffolk railway line runs through the village and, the trains that travel to Ipswich in the south and Lowestoft in the north, stop at the station - confusingly called 'Wickham Market' - housed in Station House. If you wish to learn more about the history of the village and the people who lived in it please visit the Heritage page on the Campsea Ashe Church Website at www.campseaashechurch.org.uk
